Inspiration to me is basically finding the good in life and wanting to do good, finding hope and giving it to others. So many people in TIG have truly and significantly made an impact on my life, and TIG as a forum has really made it happen in my life, at times our expectations seems to be cut off due to the environment that we come from, but God in His infinite mercies doesn't allow it to happen. I became involved in this area (rights of girls, women) when I last travelled into some rural areas in Enugu state where there has never been electricity since the world began exept for rich men living in towns who come home, once in 10 years and buy a generator set. I saw the pains and the mosquitos as well as manutrition, sickness and stunted growth. After due consideration I decided to champion a public opinion in their favour and help them get out of the pain.

I think a good leader is one who is fair, self motivated, appreciative, committed, enthusiastic, understanding and one who can articulate issues. In addition, one who has strong ability to influence the rest of the group in doing something either in a negative or positive way but the best way is to encourage the team to do positive things. Also a good leader should listen to the voices of those that they lead and incorporate their interests and opinions in the decision-making process. ( read more)
